John has been a farmer for over 30 years.  Prior to his election to the Scottish Parliament, he was also a partner in his wife’s catering business.  An occasional golfer and curler John is also an enthusiastic rugby fan; he enjoys travelkling with an interest in geology.

John’s presentation will touch on the history of the Scottish Parliament, committee structures and how legislation is brought forward by the committees.  However, members have also put forward a few questions relating to the business environment in Ayrshire.

There will also be an opportunity to put forward any questions you may have at the end of the presentation.
