Last Tuesday we had our first networking event of 2010, and we enjoyed a jolly evening hearing about other local businesses in Ayrshire, including one lady who really didn’t have to say a word as her outfit and rhythm said it all!

On Sunday a number of the AABW members attended the Butterfly Bazaar held at the Ayr Racecourse suite, in support of Cancer Reasearch UK.  We were treated to a beautiful 2-course lunch, shopping, raffle, catwalk show, comedian, auction and loads more.

On Tuesday evening we hosted our monthly networking event, with special guest Chloe Patience from the Glasgow based company Bebaroque.  The photo shown here is Chloe with one of our AABW members Mhairi and some of Mhairi’s students from Largs Academy.

We had two AABW members exhibit at the Ayr Flower Show this month.  Margaret Paterson of Airlie Garden Design won a Silver Gilt and the Maybole Tophy for her Courtyard Garden Design.  Plus Sarah Plant who had a beautiful display of Party Planning ideas.
