Press Release for Recruitment of Panel Members to Help Vulnerable Children

A new campaign has been kicked off this month by the Scottish Government, to recruit panel members who can spare some time to help vulnerable children, see attached press release above.

Yesterday members of the aabw attended the ASB Awards Dinner and Conference in Aberdeen to support the Ayrshire finalists.

We spent the afternoon with 40+ business women participating in a coaching session from Martha Simpson and hearing advice from a selected panel of professional women from TIPS, Thorpe Molloy, Larosco & Befriend a Child.

We all then dressed up for the evening’s award ceremony and dinner at the Elphinstone Hall hosted by the Aberdeen Business Network (abn).

Our nominee for the ASB Employee of the Year Heather Dunk, Principal of Kilmarnock College, won a special highly commended award.

The ladies who were nominated for 3 other awards were worthy finalists, being runners-up and taking home a well deserved certificate for their efforts in business and partnerships.
